CVA Silicone, an Auvergnat company founded in 1960, is the French pioneer for the liquid silicone rubber.

In 2007,CVA Silicone processed 130 tons of liquid silicone rubber, i.e. 20% of French consumption, for a turnover of 5.2 million euros, combined with an operating income of +10%.

CVA Silicone employs 42 individuals and possesses 14 presses operating on a three-shift basis, 24/7.
CVA Silicone is certified ISO 9001 version 2000 and ISO 13485 version 2003.

The company's activities are currently divided between 3 sectors:
baby care, medical and industry.

Baby care: inventor of the variable flow teat and of Innovative air inlet devices for baby bottles, CVA Silicone possesses an acknowledged experience and unique technological know-how in this field, for the manufacture of natural rubber and silicone teats.

To serve the Medical sector, CVA possesses an ISO 6 classified (class 1000) controlled atmosphere packaging and injection room. It also offers full grade control, offering the highest guarantees of biocompatibility.

Production activities for the industrial sector are dominated by the automotive market, i.e. typically small seal parts intended for use in highly aggressive environments.

The addition of a Design office with Tool Creation workshop remains one of CVA's strong points, providing it with a unique ability to implement innovative projects under particularly stringent technological requirement and deadline conditions.

Silicone injection

Thermoplastics injection

CVA offers a complete service, from the design and creation of your internal tools to the injection of small, medium and large production runs in both semi-automatic and automatic modes.

CVA's total integration enables it to achieve exceptionally competitive production costs, while maintaining its production activities in France.

Applications, from prototype to mass production, are extremely diverse, targeting in particular the following sectors: Medical, Para-medical, Sports and Leisure, Foodstuffs, Industry, etc.

Natural rubber compression

CVA as been creating natural rubber parts for over 50 years, thus conferring upon it a widely acknowledged experience and pioneering know-how, particularly in the Childcare sector.

CVA's professionalism further increased in the early 1980's with the creation of a integrated mechanical engineering workshop, initially used for the manufacture of compression tools. Since then, CVA has continued to propose a global service, from tool design and manufacture to the production of cast parts, attracting a broad range of loyal international customers.

For tool creation, follow-up and maintenance, CVA Silicone has created a Design Office, equipped with "Pro-Engineer" CAD/CAM workstations, along with a mechanical engineering workshop equipped with NC 3-axis lathes, NC machining centers, spark machining-hubbing machines, along with surface and rotary grinding machines.
